**Work package page**
* In the toolbar of a work package there is a menu item **Set reminder.**
* This is indicated by a new icon (to be defined)
* Clicking on the action opens a modal to create a reminder, with:
* Date: date input
* Time: time input
* Note: an optional one-line text field
* _\[open\] This text field has a max width of 80 characters (to be updated)_
* Any date can be selected for a reminder; it is not limited to working days.
* _\[open\] The set reminder button has three states:_
* _Default: reminder not set_
* _Reminder set: a green dot or check on the icon_
* _Reminder past: a red exclamation (!) icon on the icon_
* The 'Mark as read' icon on a work package view will mark _all_ notifications associated with it as read. This includes reminders.
**Notification center**
* Reminders appear as a regular notification row with two specificities:
* The notification reason is "Reminder"
* The last row is a single line with two elements:
* Reminder time shown in relative time, eg "3 hours ago."
* If there is a note: "Note: {The entered note}"
* The note is normally compelely visible and not truncated.
* However, since the right split screen panel is resizable and thus the notification list can be made narrow, the note will be truncated if needed.
* Clicking on a Reminder notification will open the work package in the Activity tab.
* A reminder can be marked as read. The notification will then behave like any other notification:
* The notification item will disappear from "Unread" but be visible in the "All" tab
* The unread badge and the Mark as read actions will not be visible
* The relative time will still show when the original item was scheduled, the same as for all other notifications
* The reminder will be deleted from the work package, and the 'Set reminder' action will go back to default mode
* In the sidebar, there is a new **Reminders** filter view below **Date alerts**.
* Reminders are both personal and private. Nobody else can see or manage them. Not even admins.
* There is one new project permissions: "Create own reminders"
**Mockups**
