Change the number of characters comment form 255 to bigger amount ?

Hello
Where I can change the number of characters in comment field in section Log unit costs (see the screenshot) for form 255 to bigger amount ?
I have already change the column type for VARCHAR (255) to TEXT but it look like there is some kind on JavaScript user side validation script which I can not locate.

I’m afraid that limit is hard-coded.
