  4. 3.0 -> 4.0 issues with css/javascript

3.0 -> 4.0 issues with css/javascript

Added by Jeremy W over 10 years ago

I recently upgraded to 4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. I had one issue during the installation with a yanked gem that had to be installed manually, but otherwise no apparent issues. On starting up via bundle exec rails server the login form flashes on screen an then appears to slide upward and behind the header, making it impossible to sign in.

This appears to be a css/javascript issue to me (leaning more toward javascript since the form shows up at first and then disappears. Any thoughts?

Well, I don’t know what caused this, but the problem went away after installing Apache and Passenger without any further issues or having to make any further updates.
