"Service Unavailable" After Installation

Added by Ethan Watrall almost 3 years ago

I'm getting a "Service Unavailable" message/error after having installed using the DEB/RPM package guide.

Ubuntu 20.04 on a Digital Ocean droplet.

Any help would be appreciated.  I installed several month ago following the exact same steps without any issues...now I can't seem to get it to work at all.

I'd also like to note that I tried on Debian 11 as well as encountered the exact same issue.

Hi Ethan, can you check the link below

We're going to need some more details. I take it you followed all the steps including sudo openproject configure at the end?

Can you check/run the following?

ps aux | grep puma

curl -I localhost:6000

sudo openproject logs

Looks like the issue (as noted in the first link) had to do with OpenProject not automatically starting after installation and configuration.  I had previously thought this was the issue and restarted it....but it hadn't worked.  However, for whatever reason, it seems to be working now....so I'm considering this solved (for now at least.)

Thanks!
