URL Issue

Hello

Our IT department has installed OP on IP http://XXX.17.6.XXX and now if I want to access it over VPN then they are asking me to open VPN portal only on this IP address as when I try to open it, it redirects to
http://XXX.17.6.XXX/login?back_url=http%3A%2F%2FXXX.17.6.XXX%2F

Any help is really appreciated as I am totally new to Rails
