Migration OpenProject 4.1.4 (MySQL2) -> OpenProject 7.4.0 (PostgreSQL)

Added by Hiran Chaudhuri about 7 years ago

Hi there.

I started off using OpenProject (and got version 4.1.4 running on Ubuntu) but now I want to move that installation to another machine running the OpenProject docker image which currently presents OpenProject 7.4.0 on PostgreSQL.

This page only mentions how to migrate to OpenProject 4.
https://www.openproject.org/operations/upgrading/

How would I migrate from 4 to 7? As a database change seems related, is there some feature to export the data such that it can be imported into the next installation?

Hiran
