When following the install instructions for OpenProject community edition on Debian 9 Stretch, installation fails with the following error:
# apt-get install openproject Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: openproject : Depends: libmagickwand-6.q16-2 but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Package libmagickwand-6.q16-2 is not available in stretch, and manual installation of libmagickwand-6.q16-3 does not correct the above error.
Thank you.

We do not yet support Debian 9 through our packages. (Also see this thread).
However, support will be available soon.
Hi!
Could you give even rough estimate when Debian 9 will be supported? Maybe its still months away? We are planning to install OpenProject but i’d like to know if we should degrade our server back to Debian 8?
Thank you!
Hi Matt,
Without promising when exactly it will be ready, we’re actively testing it. It is around the corner and will likely be available with the release of 7.3.0 in the next week or so.
Best,
Oliver
