Installed OpenProject on Ubuntu - Now What?

Hello,

I cannot find how to launch the software initially.

I have filled out via the wizard all required options and am ready to go but am not finding clear instructions on how to view the new project management system in our web browser.

I have created a new domain called ourcompanyprojects.com and it is running on our server locally. However, what files do I ln -s to reach core files for the openproject it comes up in the browser.

What sayeth the group?

try type localhost to adress line of your web browser and press enter.

Do you properly configured your DNS to work with your domain? If not, you need to access trough the IP address of the server.

Additionally to the helpful comments above, the OpenProject wizard sets up Apache only if you chose that step in the beginning of the wizard. If you did, it asked your for a domain that it will use as the ServerName of the OpenProject virtualhost. You can then use that domain to access OpenProject.

If you chose to skip the Apache installation, you’ll need to configure a proxy/reverse proxy to localhost:6000 from Apache / nginx / your preferred web server.
