workpackage status menu incomplete

Added by Jerome C over 8 years ago

as an administrator, the workpackage status items were edited, removed and/or created.

However, for each project, clicking on the workpackage status menu only shows the default value for an admin or an assignee, thereby impeding the updating of the status.

What is missing/wrong in the set-up

Hello Jerome,

you are probably not a member in the project.
Even if you are an administrator you need to be a member in the project in order to update the status (since the workflow is determined based on the role you have in the project).

Best,
Robin

Unfortunately, I am a member of the project. This same behaviour is experienced by the creator of the project… and all others.

Hi Jerome,

can you post a screenshot of the workflow for task? This behavior will occur if you have no transition to another status from Aperto.

Best,
Oliver

Ah, OK. I got it now. I seriously did not understand the matrix.

I was thinking ‘simple’, thus 2-states context. Here the matrix makes very little sense as there is only one possible path on the flow.
But with multiple status, then a matrix is absolutely necessary as the possibilities of change grow geometrically.
