Remote connect after install

Added by Adam Love over 8 years ago

Hi there, I’ve installed on an image/instance on a remote sever via ssh; install seems to have gone fine, however now I can’t connect to it. My understanding is that I simply need to enter the IP address and my page will display, similar to nextCloud?
I have a 16.04 Ubuntu instance with Packager.io

root@openproject-packager:~# wget qO https://deb.packager.io/key | sudo apt-key add -
OK

root@openproject-packager:# echo “deb https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject-ce trusty stable/6” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject-ce.list
deb https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject-ce trusty stable/6
root@openproject-packager:
# wget qO https://deb.packager.io/key | sudo apt-key add -
OK

root@openproject-packager:# echo “deb https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject-ce xenial stable/6” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject-ce.list
deb https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject-ce xenial stable/6
root@openproject-packager:
# sudo apt-get update
(all seemed to go okay, ending with:

The openproject package provides an installer. Please run the following command to finish the installation:
sudo openproject configure

Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.23-0ubuntu5) …

root@openproject-packager:~# sudo openproject configure

  • fully qualified domain name is my subdomain.name.com web address,
  • svn-path suggested (/var/db/openproject/svn) didn’t exist, however /var/db/openproject did. I pressed enter with the /svn foler and continued
*configure seemed to go okay, and got this at the end:
    20140122161742 RemoveJournalColumns: migrated (95.9396s) =
    20140127134733 FixIssueInNotifications: migrating
    /usr/share/openproject/installer/addons/openproject/bin/postinstall: line 62: 12704 Killed ${CLI} run rake “${rake_commands} packager:postinstall”

I’m not sure how to connect now, however….
