Getting apt-get error related to OpenProject

Added by Kendell Welch about 9 years ago

When I do “sudo apt-get update” I get:

Failed to fetch https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject/dists/wheezy/Release Unable to find expected entry ‘stable/5/binary-amd64/Packages’ in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)

As a result, my OpenProject is not functioning correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Kendell

Hey Kendell,

If I’m not mistaken, you’re still on the OpenProject core package 4.2., which is located at https://packager.io/gh/opf/openproject.

The current 5.0 packages are built on the following source: https://packager.io/gh/opf/openproject-ce.

We do have a migration guide for legacy packages (both pkgr-openproject-community and openproject(-core):

https://github.com/opf/openproject/blob/release/5.0/doc/operation_guides/packager/upgrade-guide-legacy.md

Please let us know if the guide doesn’t solve your issue.

Best,
Oliver

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately, no. I upgraded to 5.0 some months ago, and am currently on OpenProject 5.0.17 (Mysql2)
