OpenProject not working after install

Added by Leonid Gutman about 9 years ago

Hi everyone,
I just installed OpenProject via package install on an Ubuntu 14.04 server. I went through the configure process and tried to deploy it into a subdirectory. It was installed successfully, but there is no way I can access it from my computer - calling the domain just returns “Forbidden” while calling the subdirectory returns “Document not found”. The server also has a PHP application install (Owncloud in an own subdirectory), which works just fine. OpenProject was installed from a root account.

Document not found = Means you are pointing your Virtual server to a wrong root directory
Forbidden = means from your apache conf files you do not allow to access that directory.
