[Solved] Probleme mit Umlauten im Wiki

Hi,

Sorry this topic is written in german because it concerns german umlauts.

Ich hab nach einer Neuinstallation das Problem dass Umlaute im Wiki nicht korrekt angezeigt werden und (dadurch) die Seiten nicht mehr vernünftig benutzbar sind. Man kommt sofort in den Editmodus und Subpages funktionieren nicht mehr. Aus einem ü macht das Wiki z.B “%2525C3%2525BC”

Ich denke es liegt an einer falschen collation der mysql db. Ein “show table status like ‘wiki_pages’” liefert mir eine latin1_swedish_ci collation.

Kann das der Grund sein und wenn ja, wie kann ich das beheben?

Hi Markus,

thanks for your message.
Could you check which OpenProject version you are using? (go to “Administration” > “Information” to see the “Core version”).
This error should have been fixed with OpenProject 5.0.8 which has been released a couple of weeks ago:

Once you update to 5.0.8 (or the current version 5.0.9), the error should be resolved.
