Incomplete response received from aplication

Added by Jose Barahona over 9 years ago

I’m currently installing openproject to assess the company where I work, but I did the manual installation guide and still have problems with the settings.

It shows me the error: Incomplete response received from application.

maybe someone knows something more.

the test system is Ubuntu14.04 server x64

manual installation guide: https://www.openproject.org/open-source/manual-installation/manual-installation-guide/

Apache log:

This may not help, but when I got that error, it was because I was missing the secret token environment variable. Instructions for creating it are in the Manual Installation guide, but here’s the excerpt ::

You need to generate a secret key base for the production environment with ./bin/rake secret and make that available through the environment variable SECRET_KEY_BASE.
In this installation guide, we will use the local .profile of the OpenProject user. You may alternatively put set the environment variable in /etc/environment or pass it to the server upon start manually.
