Hi,
i have upgraded my openproject bitnami stack from 4.2 to 5.0, reinstalling the new openproject bitnami stack in another folder, i created a database backup of openproject 4.2 (mysqldump -u root -p database_name > backup.sql) and restored in openproject 5.0 (mysql -u root -p database_name < backup.sql);
the data is restored, but when i go the project setting page (/openproject/projects/name_of_project/settings) or administrator projects page (/openproject/admin/projects), it gives me a 500 internal server error.
any advice?

Hi Ciuino,
this sounds more like an installation issue than an error in OpenProject.
Since we don’t maintain the Bitnami installation it’s probably easiest to address Bitnami directly.

isn’t an installation issue, because when i install the openproject 5.0 bitnami stack it works properly, but when i replace the database with the backup of openproject 4.2 database, it gives me these errors
You can’t use the 4.2. database with a 5.0 installation without properly migrating the database as a preliminary step.
Please note that we do not maintain nor support the Bitnami installation method and will not be able to help you in this regard.
