Hi there.
I have a simple question :)
How to do task from subject ? (Migrate from OpenProject 4.0.6 (PostgreSQL) to newest package install with MySQL.)
Or, maybe there is a package installation with PostgreSQL DB engine ?

Why ? In order easiest updates in the future.

Hi Grzegorz,

there is no PostgreSQL package for OpenProject available, although I’d like to integrate it. I don’t think a cross-update to MySQL is easily doable. You could probably use something like the MySQL Workbench for migration.

As you’re not on a packaged installation on 4.0.6, the easiest upgrade would be to manually upgrade to 5.0, which should be straight forward with the following guide: https://github.com/opf/openproject/blob/release/5.0/doc/operation_guides/manual/upgrade-guide.md
