No response from Professional Services division

Hi concerned team members,

I have been trying to connect with the professional services team for past two weeks.

  1. Sent them mail on info id
  2. Also tried to call them on the phone number mentioned on the website. (It lands on a voice mail, where I left a message)

Is there any other way to connect with the professional services team?

We have rolled out OpenProject company wide and now are facing a lot of glitches. This all started when we migrated from version 4.2.9 to version 5.0. Since then there is no relief.

  1. The old projects don’t have project settings activated.
  2. The new projects don’t have the button to create new version and many more such pain areas.

We are looking for the professional services guys to help us out here. If there is a way to get to them, kindly drop a line on this thread.

Looking forward for a positive response.

Hey Manish,

I’ll try to help you sort this out.

The new projects don’t have the button to create new version and many more such pain areas.

This is a known bug which has been fixed in release 5.0.3 - are you still on 5.0?

How have you installed OpenProject? Using the packaged installation or by hand?
In the former case you can upgrade OpenProject to the latest release (5.0.7) like this:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --only-upgrade openproject
sudo openproject configure

As for your other problem:

The old projects don’t have project settings activated.

Can you please elaborate what you mean here?
