Fresh installed, "Maintenance" displayed only

I just installed OpenProject, following the manual installation instructions.

When I point my browser to my web site, then I see only a Maintenance screen.

I also noticed that the directory ~/openproject/openproject/public does not include an index.* file

What could I have missed?

SOLVED:
I used another browser and it worked. Gone back to Firefox and used SHIFT RELOAD, ….
