Workpackage don't send e-mails, but others yes

Hello,

After made changes in the work package, I’m not receiving e-mails, but if I change or create: news or wikis, I receive the e-mail notifications.
It’s not the e-mail notifications configuration, because I have configured for all actions.
I tried to install a new version 4.2.6.1, from Bitnami, but I can’t get sucessful.
I don’t know what I need to do.

Hello Valterlei,

that sounds as if the background job which sends email notifications e.g. for work package updates is not running properly.
If you use the manual installation you need to make sure to activate this background job separately.
You can find more information in the section “Activate Background Jobs” in the manual installation guide.
The Bitnami installer should configure this properly during the installation process but if there are any issues with the Bitnami installation it’s probably easiest to contact Bitnami directly (since this installation method is developed and provided by Bitnami).

Alternatively, you can use the packaged installation which (similar to the Bitnami installer) provides an installation wizard leading you through the different steps.
