Top menu changed after upgrading openproject-ce 4.1.3 -> 4.2.1

Hi OpenProject community,
I upgraded an openproject installation (Community edition on Ubuntu 14.04) from 4.1.3 to 4.2.1 following the upgrade guide.
The procedure completed successfully, but now in the admin accounts the “Modules” menu changed showing these three entries: “Work Packages”, “News” and “Cost Reports” instead of the three previous entries “Cost Types”, “Cost Reports” and “Administration”.
Is this an expected change? Is it possible to modify/reset the menu to the previous configuration?

thanks for your question.
This is an intentional change which was made to make links more accessible which previously were quite hidden (e.g. “Work packages” was previously shown on the “View all projects” page).
You can get an overview of the changes in the release notes for OpenProject 4.2.0 and in the description of changes regarding the navigation.
We would be glad to hear your feedback on these changes.

I have explored the changes in the menu structure and it seems to me that they definitely make sense and really improve navigation.
