Bower ENOENT No bower.json present

I get this error when I run ‘bower install’. My OS is Debian and I installed OpenProject manually.

Hi Stefano,

I have just been struggling on the same issue.
The error message is pretty straight forward. There is no bower.json included in the current stable release 4.1.
I just tried a fresh install and everything seems to run quite well if you just take the file of the stable 4.0.

Just “nano bower.json” inside the openproject folder, then copy the content of file into it and continue installation. Should work quite well. At least it did for me, though I’m note sure if it’s a good idea.. :/
