OpenProject 4.0.1 a2085f4 deb corrupt?

Hello,

I am trying to install OpenProject on Debian 7.7, but it appears that the deb is corrupt. I can successfully extract the file using ‘ar -x openproject_4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4.wheezy_amd64.deb’ and verify the integrity of the gzip within, but the package cannot be installed using either apt-get or dpkg.

The sha256sum is the same for the file downloaded by apt-get and downloading manually via HTTP ( https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject/pool/o/op/openproject_4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4.wheezy_amd64.deb )

I have tried on multiple Debian 7 virtual machines and the result is the same.

Installation:

Unpacking openproject (from .../openproject_4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4.wheezy_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg-deb (subprocess): decompressing archive member: internal gzip read error: '<fd:4>: invalid distances set'
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess <decompress> returned error exit status 2
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/openproject_4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4.wheezy_amd64.deb (--unpack):

Verify package and contents:

~$ sha256sum openproject_4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4.wheezy_amd64.deb

Hi,

first of all thank you for this information. Unfortunately we can not reproduce this error or at least our tests do not fail. I will check this manually but this will take some time. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for the fast response. 4.0.0 2cf7a58 installs correctly. Let me know if you reproduce my issue with the deb for 4.0.1 a2085f4

Hi Koge,

I’m having the same error when I attempted to upgrade to 4.0.1-1415184345.a2085f4 on my Wheezy install. I just setup this Debian server as well just a couple of days ago to install OpenProject on, so there’s no other packages installed other than the required ones.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
