Can not install. gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found

Added by Ben Sharp over 10 years ago

when i run the command bellow i get one of two responses.

wget qO https://deb.packager.io/key | sudo apt-key add - echo “deb https://deb.packager.io/gh/opf/openproject trusty stable” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject.list

sometimes i just get OK in which case when i run the next command of “sudo apt-get update” i get the following response.

E: Type ‘ok’ is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject.list
E: The list or sources could not be read.

in the other case when i run the first command above i get a response of “gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found”

i am running Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 64bit server.

edit: i forgot to mention it is running as virtual computer on microsoft hyper-V
