No valid OpenPGP data found (Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS server mode 32-bit)
Added by Andy Ko over 10 years ago
Hello,
I am trying to follow this wiki instruction to install Open Project
https://www.openproject.org/projects/openproject/wiki/Installation_Ubuntu_Package
When I type first command
wget qO https://deb.pkgr.io/key | sudo apt-key add -
It says gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found
And I type the rest of commands, and it finally says cannot locate Project Open
Would anyone please help on this?
Best Regards,
Andy Ko

Hello Andy,
the thing is that pkgr.io only supports 64bit systems.
I noticed that I haven’t listed that requirement in our wiki page (sorry for that!). Thus, I edited the page to link to the original instructions at https://pkgr.io/apps/tessi/openproject/ — they are up to date.
cheers,
Philipp
Dear Philipp,
Thanks a lot. That means I need to open a 64-bits VM. Thanks.

Hi,
I’m new on this forum and for OpenProject !
Is there any possibility to install through package OpenProject on a 32 bits machine ?
I would like to test it on a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i686 (32bits) server machine.
Thanks for help
Vincent
Hi Vincent,
unfortunately not. We use the packager.io service for building the OpenProject packages. See the supported distribution page of packager.io for more information.
Cheers,
Karsten
Well, I am using a 64bit physical machine on which I am running a 64bit virtual machine on which I have Ubuntu 64bit installed. Yet I still get the “no valid OpenPGP data found” message. Any other reason for this?
Cheers
