Dear OP team,
I just installed OP sucesfully but found something wrong with the work package stuff
1. I used the “use from template” settings which is opted to me once I just installed. Since I don’t want to spend my time configure from scratch, I use that setting.
2. I got the set up as the first screenshot I put here. I changed nothing. The filename is “WP”
3. But after I tried to create a task, and to change the status, the status is freezed in “New” it can’t be changed at all. Have I done something wrong? I didn’t change any setting from the admin panel. The filename of the screenshot is “freeze status”

Hi Zorin,
are you a member in the project where you are trying to change the work package status?
You can only change the status of a work package if you are a project member in that project.
Then you can change the status based on the type of work package and the role you have in the project.
You can add yourself to a project by clicking on “Project settings”, go to tab “Member” and enter your username and the role you want to have.
