Cannot login as admin

Hi

I have just installed version 3.0 and tried to login as administrator. I have used the admin/admin credentials as indicated in the installation instructions but login failed. After several attempts the ‘admin’ account is blocked and it does not seem to unlock.

Is there a way to unlock the account?

The message I get is:

Invalid user or password or the account is blocked due to multiple failed login attempts. If so, it will be unblocked automatically in a short time.

Hi Vasilios,

did you seed the database? Contrary to version 2.4, the admin user will not be created during migration.

Henning is right, the database needs to be seeded.

in production run the following command to do this (it creates the admin user):

RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake db:seed

can you please help me , how to execute the command in ubuntu 18.04 terminal.

I have installed openproject in ubuntu.
