Can't access to the frontende "domain.de:3000" - Plesk

Added by Carlos Bracho almost 11 years ago

Hello,

We don’t have big experience with Linux server but we need a good Project management software. We installed Open Project with your documentation. After intalling it, I tried to access open project over “mydomain.de:3000” but I can’t.

What should I do? We have a dedicated server with Plesk. Plesk runs over other port.

Thank you very much!

Hello,

I suppose you wanna run OpenProject in production mode and for this purpose you shouldn’t use the build in “thin” webserver used if you start OpenProject with ‘rails s’. For production use we recommend a setup with Apache OR nginx together with Phusion Passenger with such a setup OpenProject will be accessible through the default http(s) port 80 or 443.

Check this Install Apache with Passenger to autostart OpenProject with OS and loadbalance traffic in the install guide for debian.

Best
Ratzi
