Hello everyone,

Do you know a way to change the URL or the name of the server in the links that are inserted in all status mails generated by OpenProject? Specifically, I have the problem that the server name on which OpenProject is running is different from the one that is prefixed in the links.

I initially suspected the host name of the Linux server during my installation, but this is correct. The name of the server in the system configuration is also correct.

It would be great if someone here could give me a tip. Thank you!

Hi Thomas,

your OpenProject host name should match the one you use to access the instance. You can set the host name in the settings or through OPENPROJECT_HOST__NAME env.

Hi Oliver,

thank you for your reply. Setting the environmental variable OPENPROJECT_HOST__NAME has fixed the issue.

But an explanation why there is a wrong host name I have not found until now. Very strange. The settings in the configuration are correct, also the network settings of the LINUX host. However - I can use the generated Links in the mails now and that's good. :)
