How To Fix wrong email sender domain(example.net) in a docker installation

Added by Stephen Nesbitt about 1 year ago

I've got OpenProject installed in a Docker container and am working on relaying notifications.

The issue I'm running into that OpenProject is setting the from address to openproject@example.net rather than the OPENPROJECT_HOST__NAME.

Any help in how to fix this?

Hi  Stephen,

OpenProject is using the emission email address set under /admin/settings/mail_notifications for sending mails.

On default this is  openproject@example.net .

You can change it there via the web ui.

Best regards

Tizian
