Avatars: Use ONLY local avatars (GDPR privacy issue...) #resolved
Added by Magic Trashcan 12 months ago
Hi all,
the title kinda says it all. We're required to reduce unnecessary third party scripts to an absolute minimum and unfortunately under GDPR regulations Gravatar falls in the category of "privacy nightmare". However, we would like to use local avatars! Surely there must be a way to completely disable Gravatar scripts being called globally, yet to allow the use of custom avatars?
Love to hear about it!
Thanks in advance and kind Regards,
Magic Trashcan

I haven't checked but does disabling it under Administration -> Users -> Avatars not help?

Geez, I didn't even see that section. That worked like a charm. Thanks!
