[solved]Migrate existing OP installation to a new server

Hi!

I could need some advice on how to migrate my existing OP to a new server -both are running OP3. On the new server OP is already running, but I need to migrate the DB+files.
Is it just necessary to make a db-dump and import it into the new db? I see that there are some files in the config/file, I guess I just have to copy them.

I can confirm that I was just necessary to copy the metioned files and export/import the database. Was no problem.

You are right that the config files are important. Another important directory is the <openproject dir>/files directory. It contains files uploaded by your users (e.g. attachments to wiki pages or work packages).
