Elements visibility through opacity vs xray vs opaque

Added by Adriano Neves 6 months ago

Hi,

Does the model viewer allow any other visibility mode other than 100% opaque elements or xray?

Xray mode is actually very good on some cases, but element / model opacity control as in autodesk viewer or bim collab viewer allow for much easier model analysis. Is this something being considered?

Regards

Hi Adriano Neves,

please feel free to add a feature request here https://community.openproject.org/projects/xeokit/work_packages so that others can find it. Interesting for me would be to know, what is the scenario you want to solve. Then I'd ask why the X-Ray mode is not good enough, etc. So what additional needs do you have and why are they covered better by autodesk viewer or bim collab viewer. We need to know the reasons/use cases.
