getaddrinfo: Name or service not known

It seems that since the upgrade to OpenProject 12.1.4 sending mails fails. I use mailjet.com as a relay and settings have not been changed. When sending a testmail I get the error: getaddrinfo: Name or service not known. I don't know where to start looking for the cause. Anyone experiencing the same error?  Advice would be welcome.
