Openproject doesn't work after installation
Added by Luigina Marcotrigiano over 2 years ago
Hello everybody; I would like to know why with linux there are always problems when trying to install some application despite following the official guides of the application site. I installed openproject with apache included and when I try to access locally I get the error: Service Anvailable. I installed everything on Debian 11; if I try to see the status of openproject with the command "sudo systemctl status openproject" and it gives me output: "Unit openproject.service could not be found" Also if I only run systemctl in the processes I see that postsql is in the failed state. I have tried to restart postsql too nothing is not working. I installed postsql following the openproject installation procedure on debian without any active service before installing the newly installed operating system and I installed all the required dependencies and it does not work. Can anyone help me understand? Are there any distributions where you can install openproject without problems or do I have to follow other instructions? The guide I followed is this: https://www.openproject.org/docs/installation-and-operations/installation/packaged/

Hello Luigina, can you try the following command
sudo openproject run web
command not found newly; I don't undestand I have performed the installation as per the manual shown here
I'm getting the same issue on CentOS 7. Did the
yum install openproject
, and now when I try to runopenproject reconfigure
, I get-bash: openproject: command not found
.
