LDAP authentication fails after upgrade to OpenProject 12.1.2

Dear all,
We upgraded our self-hosted OpenProject server to version 12.1.2 today. We are connecting via the explicit/TLS option to our LDAP server. After the upgrade, LDAP authentication no longer works. We have checked all settings and OpenProject appears to be correctly configured. However, we receive the following message on login via LDAP accounts:

[Error 500] An error occurred on the page you were trying to access. If you continue to experience problems please contact your OpenProject administrator for assistance.

Testing the LDAP configuration leads to a "time-out" message.

Does anyone else experience these issues?

Hi Erik, please run the following script to test LDAP reachability from your self hosted linux:
