Hello together,
I deleted data today in OpenProject that was not allowed to be deleted, is there a way to recover the data. Please for support, thank you
Which installation are you using?
If you have backed up your installation, you can restore it from the backup. Here is the description for backing up as well as for restoring your OpenProject installation.
we use version 12.
Unfortunately, we have not set up the backup function and my hope is based on the fact that there is some kind of recycle bin in OpenProject where the data can be restored.
Without a backup, there is no easy way of doing it as there is no recycle bin. A developer would need to go to your database and restore every single data entry by hand and make sure that there are no conflicts with the data that was added in the mean time. Depending on the data, that could be impossible to resolve. Because of this complexity and the existing possibility of a backup, we don't offer that as normal support.
