New Workpackage creation issue

Hello All,

I recently installed OpenProject 3.0.3 (PostgreSQL).
When creating a new workpackage I am having a problem with Status field is gray no drop down or anything and when creating the workpackage I get an error that says Status can’t be blank. I am not sure how to populate status field. I am attaching the screen shot. Kindly help.

Hi Vinod,

Can you please check the following settings?

  • Administration -> Workflows
  • Administration -> Status

When I click on Administration, the project is listed in Status: Active. Where does the workpackage get the status field from

On the left hand side there is a menu item “Work package status”. Do you have anything entered?

Please also check whether you have a role in that specific project. Also check the permissions of that specific role.
