Completely new to OpenProject, apologies if this has been asked before. We've just done a fresh install of OpenProject on Ubuntu 18.04. We skipped the Apache stage as this has to coexist with our other sites and didn't want to overwrite anything. We tried our own apache conf and used the one from the Git page linked from the installation instructions.

In both configurations all we get is a 500 Internal Server Error with the message "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Unfortunately there is nothing in the logs so I don't even know where to begin. Please can you help?
