Docker Backup

Hello 

we are using open project version 8 and while launching we didnot exposed the volumes in local machine now i want to update to openproject version 10 with out loosing data in reference docs they gave that we need to backup of volumes which we exposed but we didn't exposed that so could you provide me  solution for how to take ackup and install new version
