Hi all, and thankyou for any support you can provide in advance!
I am so close to a production OP installation, it's tantalising. I have the software up and running. I am using Mailjet to carry out SMTP emails, and they have certified that both SPF and DomainKey records look good.
However...I still can't get the test email to send. I have included a screenshot of the email configurations. What else am I missing? (Could it be the 'emission email address' for example?)

Hi, I'm bumping this on the off-chance that someone else has solved the problem and can help out.
Are you using docker or package version?
Package version on Linode via Ubuntu 18.04 (and thankyou for responding!)
I've just been installing my own version and found email one of the more frustrating aspects..
Can you screenshot the error that shows when you send the test mails (I get a red box with sometimes useful information) - or does openproject suggest the email has been sent?
....and can you confirm that your authentication protocol should be 'none'? Have you tried using different settings - I would expect there to be authentication required on the service.
... sorry and finally for tonight, apparently some people have had issues with ipv6, or with the standard port 25 blocked, and had success with port 2525 instead.
.... and is your 'emission' email address one that your provider has authenticated?
...anything in the logs - not sure how you access on a linode - propoably still journalctl?

Thanks again for responding! First up, I get an error message (see below) which says that execution has expired. I have tried a range of different variables for authentication (and ports etc) with no change from the error message below - though having said that, I will now experiment with 2525.
The emission email address is a complete mystery, so anything further you have on that would be greatly appreciated.
I'll try to have a go at this later today.

Glad to have helped. The 'Emission' email address is the one that appears in the 'sent from' part pf the email. Using one that your email provider has not authorised/verified will be refused - but clearly not a problem for you.

How do I do that? It's not obvious from the edit functions (or do I just write 'SOLVED' in the heading?)
-I would just edit the title to add [SOLVED] - it works that way on other forums I use - confess not really used this one much yet!
Search tip I picked up from somewhere: Google search looking for a problem and adding SOLVED in your search term should pick up more hits that help you solve your own problem (although I would then have missed your original post.....)
