2-Way Authentification

Hello,

how can i activate 2-Way Authentification? Naturally, paying licenses is out of the question for an Open Source project, so what is the recommended way of integrating/activating it? It's a very important feature and will decide if this project will be used for my client or not. Any license fees would pretty much throw it out of the race.
