Gantt chart group by user(assignee)

I'm interested in a Gantt chart view which groups the task by user in order to find free time slots where tasks could be planned.

Is this possible? 

My goal is to have the projects assigned to "John Doe" in one line and not in separate lines.

Could you help me with this problem?

Hi Sebastian,

you cannot show all WorkPackages assigned to one user in one line. However you can group the table for example by the "assignee". This can be done via the settings menu --> Configure view --> Tab "Display settings".
