Beginner Installation Issue

Hello,

i'm not very experienced about setting up Linux / Apache and so on. I installed a CentOS 7 and then followed the OpenProject setup instructions. No error messages accured during the setup and everything is fine. The setup is very easy, thats great for beginners. But i cannot connect to the login-page, i do a telnet to the IP and port 80, which refused. There is no error in the httpd log. What else can i do? Is there a troubleshooting manual?

Hello Martin,

did you follow the packaged installation ? If so, could you ensure that openproject configure ran through without error and your server is running with service openproject status ?

Hi Günther,

thanks for your answer. It was my fault, the CentOS firewall blocked Port 80. Most Windows Setups ask you, if you want to open that port during installation. So, i learned a lot. Now i have the problem, that the ldap authentification doesn´t work. Connection ist allright, but i can´t login with any AD user. I found that thread, but doesn´t helped me:
