Localhost does not direct my to OpenProject, but my LAN IP does.

Added by C Will almost 6 years ago

Hello everyone,

I am trying to get an instance of OpenProject working over the web. To do that I am going to use PageKite; however http://localhost brings me to the "Apache2 Ubuntu Defaulte Page" and not open project. However, I am able to reach OpenProject and use it just fine by visiting my LAN (192. blah blah) address. Pagekite seemingly uses the localhost destination to determine what it is going to direct users to. Is there anyone with experience in this that can help me get either solution to work with the other?

I'm also willing to admit I am new to hosting in general. Thanks!
