[Boards] Can not create new boards after update to 9.0.1 (from 8.2.1)

Hi,

I updated today to 9.0.1 and had already issues there, which we could fix. I now wanted to test the new Boards feature and requested a trial licence. Activation worked so far. When I now want to create a board I get the error message: 

"Scope is not set to one of the allowed values." 

Any suggestion what I can do to fix this?

Hi Tobias,

this has been reported by another user and is tracked by . So far we could not reproduce it. Theoretically, this would be an error message that the acting user has no permission to create a board in the given project. But the other use reported to be a superadmin user, that would have all available permissions.

Can you help fill in some missing details?

  • What user are you using to create the board, is it a global admin? project user? (what roles?)

Hi Tobias, 

the request to the server that should create the board is also of interest. Please open the network tab of the browser's developer tools (e.g. in chrome it can be reached by right clicking somewhere on the page, selecting "Inspect" and then choosing the network tab. What I am most interested in is the body of the request. On a working request (the one to "api/v3/grids/form") it looks something like:

We should have a fix for the problem soon which would then be released with OP 9.0.2. All further information can be found in .

I tool the screen, is the upload of images for me blocked in the forum? How should I send it to you? I am an Board Admin and Super Admin.
