Changing Root URL prefix and backup data

Added by james w over 6 years ago

I currently have the root prefix set to etc but would like it to either not have a prefix or be something like project or openproject. I have followed some suggestions I found from googling and suggestions I have found on this forum (https://community.openproject.com/topics/6709) but I have been unsuccessful in making the change.

I am considering a new install but there is already some content on our current install like registered users and some projects already started. Can anyone help me with the files that need to be backedup and put onto the new install to save the users and current projects? I looked at the backup guide and I think it will save the current configuration which I would like to change.

Thanks
