How to Upgrade Docker Conatiner openproject

Hi together,

I run openproject in a docker container. How can I run the update process?

and how can I backup all data bevore upgradE?

Hi Peter,

Regarding updating the docker container with a newer openproject release you can find the basic instructions here: https://www.openproject.org/operations/upgrading/upgrade-guide-docker/

Regarding backing up and restoring the information in your docker container, this link may help (note that it assumes you will have your Docker data stores linked to local directories with the -v switch) :  https://www.openproject.org/operations/backup/backup-guide-docker-installation/ 

You may have to work with the directory permissions to get this backup and restore to work correctly (I have never attempted a migration but I have been trying to perform backups and have been having problems trying to backup the openproject data using these guides).
