**As** a project member
**I want to** easily be able to distinguish between manually-scheduled and automatically-scheduled work packages in my project
**so that** I have a clearer view of how work packages are linked and how they will behave if I modify certain dates
**Genesis**
Decision to add this icon taken in ##58709
**Acceptance criteria**
* In the date picker, add icons to the segmented control to switch between Automatic and Manual:
* Manual: icon `pin`
* Automatic: `zap` for now, will later be replaced by `op-auto-date` `op-auto-scheduling` (new OP Octicon icon) once designed
* The same icons will also be visible for automatically scheduled work packages in:
* Gantt view
* Work package list view
* Linked relations in Relations tab (instead of the calendar icon)
* Linked relations in the Date picker (instead of the calendar icon)
**Technical notes**
* \-
**Permissions and visibility considerations**
* The icon will be visible even in "ghost relations" (i.e, relations that the user does not have the permissions to see). The rationale is that the scheduling mode and dates can affect other work packages, and we're already expsoing dates, so it's logical to also expose the scheduling mode.
**Out of scope**
* \-
**UX Considerations**
* Adding an icon for automatic scheduling will mean that _all_ work packages will have icons (since there are now only two modes). This might introduce significant visual noise and we might have to remove the icon for manual scheduling (since this will be default mode). However, we'll leave this state for at least a few versions so that users get used to the new automatic scheduling paradigm and to this new icon.
