**Identified problems**
* The sidebar component needs extensions
* Notifications render icons
* Notification count bubbles
* Layout issues
* The height of the page is currrently fixed to 100%, we need an alternative layout
* Notification center has a split view that needs to be appended to the right side
* The toolbar requires SegmentedControl to be supported in the page header
* There is a lot of interactivity
* Clicking on notification read will affect the sidemenu and the notification bell
**Hint for QA**
* The functionality of the notification center should ideally not have changed by this. But we have touched quite a bit of code, so please be extra careful.
