# 📔 Project Overview
In the scope of a new project to create a mobile app for OpenProject, a first spike has been developed in Flutter with some basic on-the-go project management functionalities:
* Home screen
* See work package lists
* Edit work packages
* Create new work packages
* Notification centre
* Basic user settings
# 🛠️ The setup
## Business Case
### Problem:
Some problems that we have identified:
1. There is no validation that the current set of features is what our users/clients want.
2. Uncertainty as to which features have more relevance than others in a mobile context.
3. We don’t know the current usage of the web app on mobile, if any.
### Goals:
* Discover the current usage of the web app in mobile.
* Gather feedback on how and why users use OpenProject on the go.
* Ensure the most basic and desired features are taken into consideration in mobile.
* Determine if having an app (vs. accesing the mobile web version) would modify usage patterns on mobile.
* Learn about features that users might like to have in the app to create a feature backlog.
* Uncover opportunities to improve.
* Uncover possible new functionalities that the users are missing.
### KPIs
* **Quantitative analysis:** data-based analysis of the provided answers
# 📝 The plan
## Type of test
This will be a remote unmoderated quantitative survey. Ideally the survey will be distributed both internally (at OpenProject) and externally (with existing users) to cover as much ground and gather as much feedback as possible.
## Tools
* LimeSurvey

# 📑 Survey
## Introduction
Welcome to this survey. In the last few months, we have had two major questions concerning mobile apps in OpenProject: Do we want a create and maintain a separate mobile app? And if yes, what functionalities should it have?
These are important questions on which we would like the input of the entire OpenProject community. This includes you. You can help us by participating in this short questionnaire, which should only take you X minutes. Your answers will allow us to be better understand your needs and requirements so we can develop, if indeed we decide to do so, an app that will be useful to you.
Thank you for your time.
> 🧪 Remember, this questionnaire aims to evaluate OpenProject, not you as a user. There are **no right or wrong responses**. We want to understand your experience and every piece of feedback is invaluable.
> **📊 No personal information is required for this survey. All data and feedback will be kept confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of improving our products.**
